Invisalign Teen
The clear alternative to traditional braces.
In the past, straightening teeth using Invisalign was 
really only an option for adults. With Invisalign’s new product, Invisalign Teen, that is simply no longer the case. Invisalign Teen is the virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces, using a series of clear, removable aligners.
Why was traditional Invisalign only available for adults?
1. Invisalign required that all of the permanent teeth were fully erupted in the mouth. Invisalign Teen now accommodates for the continuing and natural eruption of the permanent teeth.
2. Orthodontists were skeptical that teens would wear their Invisalign trays as directed (22-23 hours/day). 
In response to this concern, Invisalign Teen includes all new compliance indicators. Compliance indicators are special blue dots placed on the Invisalign aligners in the back part of the mouth. These dots fade from blue to clear as the aligners are worn providing the patient, parents and Drs. Matthew and Courtney Dunn a gauge of approximate wear time. And so far, what have we found? Most teens do a good job of wearing their aligners as directed and those that don’t, end up with metal braces very quickly.
